The new line of Altinex MultiTouch panels is designed to provide a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for controlling audiovisual equipment. The MultiTouch panels are easy to use and easy to program using AVSnap software. The CP450 series come with 2 RS-232 ports, 2 network ports, and 2 to 4 USB ports. In addition, each panel has built in wireless access for both network and Bluetooth. The wireless transmitters can be permanently disabled for a secure environment. The CP451-008 offers 1 network port, 1 USB port and built in wireless access for both network and Bluetooth. Better yet, the CP451-008 is equipped with a rechargeable built in battery.

The MultiTouch panels come in various sizes as shown below and are powered by an external 12V universal power adapter. At the heart of the controllers is an embedded Windows® XP operating system. The combination of the familiar Windows interface and easy to use AVSnap software make it extremely easy to configure these controllers for any control task. To minimize cost and programming, each panel comes with one page of user programming done at ALTINEX. Additional pages of programming can be purchased in five page increments. A complete interface development tool is also included with AVSnap for those who want to handle programming themselves.
